Technion, založený roku 1912 (a pro studenty otevřený v r. 1924), je nejstarší Izraelská univerzita, zaměřená hlavně na přírodní vědy a strojírenství (inženýrství). Nachází se v Haifě. Má 18 fakult. V letech 1927-2011 škola udělila přes 93 000 titulů.
Hlavním vyučovacím jazykem je hebrejština, nicméně škola vítá i zahraniční studenty mluvící anglicky.
Technion nabízí rozsáhlé kurzy v oborech:
- Engineering: agricultural, aerospace, chemical, civil, computers, software, electrical, dual degree: electrical engineering-physics, environmental, biotechnology and food, mapping and geo-information, industrial and management, materials, mechanical, biomedical, information systems and biochemical.
- Science: biology, mapping and geo-information , chemistry, computers, computers - focus on bioinformatics, mathematics, physics, molecular biochemistry, medical laboratory, computers & mathematics, dual degree: mathematics-computers, dual degree: physics-computers, mathematics-physics, mathematics with statistics & operation research.
